DOT 3 is a glycol-based brake fluid traditionally used in older vehicles and certain international markets. It delivers reliable braking performance with minimum dry and wet boiling points of 205°C/401°F and 140°C/284°F, with a maximum viscosity of 1500 cSt at –40°C. DOT 3 remains a widely supported standard for classic, vintage and lower-demand braking systems.
